Anna Montgomerie
Principal
Anna trained at Dolphin Dance Studios in Liverpool where she studied a three year musical theatre course. Qualified IDTA Licentiate Freestyle, Associate Latin and Graduate Ballet. She also holds advanced grades in IDTA Ballet, IDTA Tap, ISTD Tap, ISTD Modern, Jazz, Freestyle and Graduate Ballet.
Anna opened the dance school in 2006 and has watched it grow each year with many students going on to study at professional theatre schools. She has vast professional experience, performing in a number of shows, pantomimes and corporate events. With an undeniable talent for choreography, Anna has assisted in the choreography for professional shows as well as creating many exciting numbers for Prime students. These dances have gained Prime 1st Place at the Champion of Champions Competition in Blackpool along with a number of trophies at other competitions.
Teaching the majority of classes at Prime, Anna is a passionate teacher and her aim is to ensure all the children are enjoying themselves as well as pushing them to their full potential.
Melissa Foster
Teacher
Melissa has been teaching for Prime since we opened our doors in 2006, qualified in ABATD stage as well as level 2 Max Whitlock gymnastics qualification- she teaches the Tots and Acrobatics classes on a Saturday morning. With a wide range of performance experiences and qualifications under her belt, Melissa brings enthusiasm and passion to her classes. Her kind and patient manner with the younger children encourages them to continue dancing and progress onto the next level.
Hannah Greenwood
Teacher
AIDTA Freestyle
Having danced with Prime Dance from the age of 5-18, Hannah went on to train at Shockout Arts where she obtained a First-Class Degree in Professional and Commercial Dance. She is trained in various styles such as: Ballet, Tap, Commercial, Contemporary and Jazz. As a teacher Hannah aims to encourage pupils to step out of their comfort zone and pass on her own experiences gained through training and performing. She currently teaches senior Ballet/Tap, Pointe, Freestyle and Saturday Ballet/Tap and Acro.
Rhian Hovington
Teacher
IDTA adjudicator, fellowship in ballet and tap, cheerleading, line dancing, gymnastic diploma 1&2 and dance exercise diploma, winner of the IDTA John Knight Award.
Her pupils have been accepted at The Royal Ballet School, English National Ballet, various full time dance colleges. Many currently perform in stage productions, worldwide cruises, on tours with companies, television, Disneyland and in professional Ballet Companies.
Jackie Montgomerie
Jackie is involved in all aspects of Prime Dance including working on reception, organising events and preparing costumes for shows. She is highly respected at Prime for the huge amount of work and effort she puts into the school and is always willing to help with any queries.
Sarah Walker
Teacher
Sarah Walker graduated from Dolphin Dance Studios, Liverpool, studying an International Dance Programme involving dancing,singing and acting. Sarah is currently signed with different agencies travelling the UK performing and choreographing various televised Corporate events including all styles of dance; Fosse, Commercial, Showgirl and many more. Sarah loves teaching and sharing her best experiences as a dancer/singer with her students. Her aim is to pass on her passion of performing. Some of Sarah's work includes working on Coronation Street, the Grand National Sponsors Evening, Co-Op and HSBC Awards and a huge annual event for Thomson Airlines. Sarah also performs as various Disney characters for Premier Princess UK and has recently appeared in a televised commercial music video nominated for 'Best Music Video' at the 'Film Festival Awards'. Other work includes performing at Creamfields, taking part in the Olympics 2012, dancing in the Christmas Musicals 'Scouse Pacific' and 'Little Scouse on the Prarie' at the Royal Court Theatre, as well as dancing in many pantomimes at The Empire Theatre & St Helens Theatre Royal.
Rio Samuels
Teacher
Rio started Dancing at the age of 7 in Bolton where he studied in R.A.D Ballet, I.S.T.D Modern and Tap. From there went on to college to Dolphin Dance Studios in Liverpool to continue with his training where he graduated with a BTEC Diploma in Musical Theatre. In that time Rio was also the 2011 IDTA Dance Master Champion of Great Britain, performed on X Factor, has toured around the country as a backing dancer and was in the first ever 'Our Day Out' The Musical. Rio has had the great pleasure to work with people such as - Ray Quinn, Willie Russell, Philip Olivier, Tina Malone, Michael Starke just to name a few.
Rio has also travelled the country to teach various workshop classes, from teaching in London to all the areas in Wales.

Jodie Taylor
Teacher
Jodie is a qualified AIDTA teacher who has been with prime since a young age. She is so excited to now be the newest member of prime dance staff, teaching Freestyle and assisting Ballet, Tap and Acro classes. Performing regularly in Pantomimes for Regal Entertainments, Jodie has great stage experience and has completed other professional work such as dancing in Hollyoaks, teaching national curriculum dance lessons and holding her own workshops in various schools. Jodie’s priority is ensuring fun laughter and involvement for anyone wanting to dance.

AIDTA Freestyle and Graduate Ballet. Jessica started at Prime Dance from a young age then continued training at Dolphin Dance studios to follow her passion for dance.
After 3 years of training Jessica soon was spotted by P & 0 cruise line to be a part of the dance cast. After 3 ships with P & O, Jessica soon moved onto work with Cunard Cruise Line.
She has travelled the world, became Dance Captain on her latest ships, and won awards for her outstanding work in the industry. Not to mention Pantomimes, and many shows in the UK. Jessica always returns back to Prime Dance to teach the up and coming students in between her performance work. She will always be a part of the Prime Dance team, sharing her choreography and teaching skills.
